Today our esteemed CEO announced the sale of Gartmore U.K. to some equity firm in San Francisco. This "finalizes the strategic exit from Europe and Asia".

I had always held the small hope that I would be able to transfer to the office there and run away in the middle of the night without anyone knowing. Just disappear, you know?

Well, they've killed that option for me now and I'm a little bummed about it.
