Temperance and I ran away and took the kids to Apple Hill:
Xander & Aislin loving on each other before we left.
Me driving. Not too exciting. I seem to have no breasts in this picture.
Aislin took a picture of the chickens.
Lhiannan was afraid the pig was going to bite her.
I had hoped seeing a real turkey would make the kids want to consider vegetarianism again. Didn't work.
Yes, city folk, those are trees.
This would have been a nice picture if it wasn't so blurry.
Savannah collapsed on a scarecrow.
Lhiannan and Xander with the same scarecrow.

Looks like you and the kids had a blast. Sheesh the pics brought back memories...I haven't been out to Apple Hill since I was Lhiannan's age. But I remember they had the best caramel apples! Yummmmm....
I would imagine that they do have good caramel apples but I will confess that I did not taste one single apple thing the whole time I was there. I bought one apple -- Lhiannan devoured it even though it was bigger than her head. And I got a pumpkin. I really wanted a piece of pie but since I hadn't eaten any 'real food' (parents know what this means) I forced myself to eat some wierd 'garden salad' which was the only thing other than doritos that was vegetarian. The lady handed me the bottle of dressing out the window of the little shack thing they were selling food out of and just told me to bring it back when I was done. That is rad.
